CCS9000 Traffic Connections Traffic Control Software

Traffic Connections^TM is a Windows^® based software program designed specifically for Traffic Management and Control that provides destination selection and connection commands for the Comprehensive Communications System (CCS) hardware. Upon installation of the CCS hardware, Remote modem/switch types and Remote location port connections are entered into the data base. All connection instructions are automatically put into place by the traffic control software and the system is then ready.

In operation, the primary screen is used to make the Remote Location and Port selection and the Connection command is issued with point and click. The connection is automatically and transparently made between the Master and the desired Remote modem/switch. When connected, the traffic control software offers the option of launching the software program to communicate with the device attached to the selected port at the selected remote location.

Traffic Connections is capable of implementing connections over multiple paths, including dial-up, leased/private lines and radio. The software allows the command center to monitor and control one device and then switch to another device with the click of a mouse.
