High-speed modems support video and SCADA on a single network

BELLEVUE, WA — June 7, 2011 — DATA-LINC announced today its newest bundled solution: SAA-VTM (Selectable Alert Audio-Video) Wireless Security Engine with its companion, DATA-LINC’s 54 Mbps OFDM modem that supports video and SCADA on one network. Both the FastLinc 900 MHz FLC910E and its 2.4 GHz FLC830E counterpart support speeds to 54 Mbps allowing robust reliable transfer of both SCADA and video data simultaneously.

The SAA-V software embedded PC allows virtually limitless control via user selectable, external program execution. It can be scheduled to record continuously, on alarm or on motion detection, giving you flexibility and security. The SAA-V allows you to be notified conveniently on-screen, by voice, on the phone or by email. Additionally, SAA-V can be programmed to act on a broad array of trigger events, acting to efficiently monitor all of your video stations. This system easily scales up to fit your framework and system needs, while seamlessly integrating with industry standard networks, servers, databases and storage systems. The SAA-V offers SCADA and OPC connectivity. Its feature rich software gives you the ultimate in a security surveillance system, which allows for up to five cameras per server.
