Frequency Shift Key (FSK)

A typical digital data stream is illustrated with the equivalent carrier modulation form, as represented by a Frequency Shift Key (FSK) sine wave.

V_S1 = Voltage Sent (Digital)

V_R1 = Voltage Received (Digital)

V_S2 V_S2 also illustrate the line loss. (Note that the frequency amplitute is unaffected by data transmission distance.)
