Data-Linc's CCS9000 Multi-Port Radio Modem Data Switch is designed and configured to provide the highest level of data communication reliability to and from industrial automation equipment. An unlimited number of CCS9000 Radio modems can be multidropped and uniquely addressed from a single CCS9000 Master Radio Modem. CCS9000 Repeater radio modemss can be used between any two Data-Linc radio modems to overcome line-of-sight obstacles or to extend range. The CCS9000 Radio modems utilize the 902-928 MHz (range up to 35 miles with line-of-sight and farther with Repeaters) or 2.4-2.4835 GHz (range up to 10 miles with line-of-sight and farther with Repeaters) industrial license free bands so no site operating license is required. They employ advanced frequency hopping spread spectrum technology which is virtually immune to jamming, noise or interference. If required, a selection of cable connected omni directional and Yagi antennas are available for optimum remote antenna placement to achieve line-of-sight operation.

The CCS9000 Radio Modem's extended operating temperature range results in optimum performance under the most severe environmental conditions. Its remotely selectable four port switch permits connection to four different controller devices at any location using only one remote modem. A fifth port allows attachment of CCS9000 Leased Line Master Modems for operation of a multi-path system.

Addressable
Data-Linc's CCS9000 Multi Port Remote Radio Modem/Data Switch is addressed uniquely for use with Data-Linc's CONNECTTM software program or with Traffic ConnectionsTM software specifically for Traffic Management and Control.

Four RS232 Ports
Each Multi Port Radio Modem/Data Switch has four RS-232 ports that allows for the connection of four different remote devices.

Transparent Connections
Connecting to a specific device at a specific location is accomplished with only a few mouse clicks away from any central location. All connection commands are automatically and transparently sent. Once the connection is made, a full duplex data path is created. The specific software program of the remote device is then launched and used for acquiring data, troubleshooting, or reprogramming.

Extended Temperature
Due to the harsh environments in which the CCS9000 System may be required to operate, each of the modems has been designed to operate in a temperature range of -40° to +167°F (-40° to +75°C).

Integrated System
The CCS9000 Multi Port Remote Radio Modem/Data Switch is designed to provide a seamless interface with all other CC9000 Multi-Port Modems. This permits communication over multi-path networks, including dial-up, leased line and wireless. The CCS9000 also permits centralized selection of desired baud rate, port selection, and partial or full disconnect using CONNECT or Traffic Connections software menu prompt command mode. The result is a unique, highly efficient non-proprietary network that is economical to purchase, simple to install and easy to use.
